Overview
This home study program for theory in Nail Technology is designed to provide working adults who are aspiring to pursue a career as a licensed
Nail Technician. This is a preparatory course as to prepare students for the State Board of Barbering and Cosmetology Exam in Nail Technology.
To obtain a license as a Nail Technician a student must acquire a total of three hundred and fifty hours (350 hrs) of instruction in the theory & practical application of Nail Technology. These hours of instruction are to be documented and certified by a licensed Instructor in a accredited institution.
1. A student must do workbook and quiz at home.
2. The final written exam is to be taken at Honolulu Nail Academy facility
3. Our practical hours are from 12:15pm to 4:15 pm or 5:00pmTO 9:00pm Monday to Friday.
To complete the course students must attend either the afternoon or evening practical class at HNA in order to received their Certificate of Completion and Transcript.
4. An Evening practical course (5:00pm to 9:00pm) will only be arranged if there are 6 students or more attending the class.
